Meet Dr. Erica Unverferth
Dr. Erica Unverferth lives in Kalida, OH. Her husband Tony works as a teacher at Vantage Career Center in Van Wert where they’ve enjoyed meeting people and becoming part of the community. They have 4 children together: Trey (9), Kinley (8), Isla (6), and Bode (5). While her children keep her plenty busy; Dr. Unverferth also enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and traveling to discover new places. She enjoys watching and playing almost any sport, especially if it involves her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.Dr. Unverferth believes in making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. She prides herself on being thorough and compassionate while providing optimal dental care. She will forever be a lifelong learner in dentistry and enjoys taking lots of CE throughout the year. She feels staying up to date with the latest education, research, and technology enables her to provide her patients the highest level of care they deserve. Dentistry is her passion and she is excited and grateful to share that with her patients every day.
Dr. Unverferth is an active member of the American Dental Society (ADA), Ohio Dental Association (ODA), Northwest Ohio Dental Society (NWODS), OSU Dental Alumni Society, and The Fort Study Club.
Kerry Laudick
Kerry Laudick is one of the registered dental hygienists at our office. She has been with the practice since graduating from Lima Technical College in 1990. A graduate of Wayne Trace High School, Kerry now resides in Kalida, where she enjoys being part of the Wildcat community. She and her husband, Brian, have three children: Laine, Grant, and Lauren. Lauren is currently in high school, Grant works as an ICU nurse, and Laine and her husband, Brandon, have two children whom Kerry loves spending time with on her days off. In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, Kerry enjoys attending Lauren’s track meets and soccer games, enjoying Grant’s cooking adventures, traveling to National Parks, and planting trees.
Chelsea Reindel
Chelsea Reindel has been a Registered Dental Hygienist in our office since 2004 when she graduated from Rhoades State College. Chelsea is a local girl who didn’t venture far from home. She is a 2001 Lincolnview graduate and grew up in the Middle Point area. She still resides outside of Middle Point with her husband Cory and their two daughters, Harper and Hanley. In her free time Chelsea enjoys being a sports mom, running half marathons, and spending time with her family at their pond. She has an insatiable appetite for reading and loves her books.
Chelsea has a passion for dental hygiene and a love for her patients. In her mind, getting to know her patients and having a good relationship with them is priceless. She truly loves her profession and her dental team. She began her career in this office and cannot wait to spend many more years helping to treat the community of Van Wert.
Charla Sadowski
Charla is happy to be a part of the Unverferth Family Dentistry team. She has served a dual role in our office as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Dental Assistant since 2014. She is a graduate of Lincolnview Highschool and received her dental hygiene degree from Lima Technical College in 1992. She has a heart for caring for our patients; she wants their experience to be comfortable and to help them maintain a healthy smile for their lifetime. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their children.
Kaylee Schimmoeller
Kaylee Schimmoeller joined the team at Unverferth Family Dentistry in 2023. Kaylee truly loves every aspect of dentistry. Her main role is a dental assistant, but she is happy to be cross trained and able to help the front office whenever needed. Kaylee graduated from Delphos Jefferson and Vantage Career Center in 2021. This is where she discovered her love of dentistry. Kaylee and her husband, Dylan, adore their golden retriever, Chevy. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, going to the lake in Michigan, traveling to Florida, babysitting her niece, and playing with her dog. Kaylee loves being a part of our team and providing the best care for all our patients!

Becky Miracle
Becky Miracle joined Unverferth Family Dentistry in 2021 and has been passionate about working in the healthcare field her entire adult life. Originally from Fort Wayne, IN, she holds a degree in Business Management with a focus in healthcare. Becky wears many hats in the office but primarily works as a dental assistant, stepping in wherever she’s needed to ensure the best care for our patients.
Outside of work, Becky loves spending time with her husband, James, and their four children – Brycen, Kenzie, Ava, and Cameron. She enjoys attending her kids’ sporting events, playing with their dog Teddy, shopping, and traveling.
Danielle Miller
Danielle Miller is our front office coordinator. She assists patients with treatment plans, scheduling, insurance, and patient accounts. Danielle has her Medical Office Assistant certificate from Allied Health Institute. She has worked in the healthcare field for the last 9 years and truly enjoys her roll at Unverferth Family Dentistry. Danielle has 4 children: Christian, Landon, Kaden, and Kinsley. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family , shopping, crafting, traveling, and attending her kids sporting events.
Layna Wolfe
Layna Wolfe is happy to be a part of the Unverferth Family Dentistry team. Layna works at the front desk and enjoys being able to interact with patients and help out in any way she can. Layna graduated from the Medical Office Management program at Vantage Career Center in 2014, not long after she found her passion for working in the dental field. She worked for Dr. Eversman for 9 years until our practices merged in 2024. When Layna is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Dustin, and her family.
